Public town beach
Start here when an easier sea entry matters: the tourist-board listing describes a dedicated children’s section. Elsewhere the surface changes between rock, pebbles and paving. Choose your exact swimming spot before settling down.

Funtana’s tourist board describes a mix of pebble, rocky and paved bathing areas. The public town beach is a useful starting point for research, with a children’s section and a more gradual entry described in its listing. That does not make every part of the shore identical or remove the need to check conditions yourself. Walk the approach, look at the entry into the sea and decide where shade will be when you actually need it. With a family, the walk home matters too.
Polidor is a named option on the tourist-board list. Maro Family, Reverol and Sunset Family beaches are associated with the Valamar Camping Istra setting. Compare their location with your accommodation, and confirm the current access arrangements for visitors who are not staying at the resort. Do not assume that pools, loungers, sports facilities or beach-club services are included simply because a photograph shows them. We deliberately avoid evergreen claims of free entry or guaranteed facilities.
Choose one convenient beach and one alternative, rather than driving between several in a single afternoon. Bring footwear appropriate to the actual shore and do not rely on a photograph to establish water depth. Check current signs for dog areas and local restrictions. The photograph on this guide shows Školjić and Funtana’s coastal setting; it is not a facility map of every beach mentioned. The official links are the right next step for current details.

A pebble-and-paved beach beside the smaller Puntica campsite. Compare the approach from your accommodation with the town beach. It is a practical alternative for a straightforward swim rather than a reason to cross the entire coast.
The tourist board places this pebble beach on the route towards Bijela Uvala. Consider it for a beach-club style afternoon. Separate beach access from optional services: a lounger, transport or food is not automatically included.
In the southern part of Valamar Camping Istra, the listing describes pebbles, paved areas and a gradual pebble entry. Compare its location with Sunset Family Beach before choosing; campsite facilities have their own access arrangements.
This pebble beach is in the campsite’s north-western Sunset zone. Choose between the family beaches by the route from your accommodation, not the name alone. The published listing excludes pets; check signs before bringing a dog.
Map links open a place search, not a surveyed walking route. Check entrances, private areas and access on arrival. Our comparisons are editorial planning suggestions; facilities and admission can change.

Suggested plans, not bookable packages. Confirm access, opening dates and conditions directly with each operator.
Expect a varied coast with pebbles, rocks and paved sections, not a continuous sandy beach.
Do not assume that they are. Confirm current visitor access and any charges with the relevant campsite or facility operator.
