01 / A sense of place

The pleasure of
having nowhere else to be.

A morning by the fishing harbour. A stretch of shoreline that becomes your favourite. A table you are not quite ready to leave. Funtana’s appeal lies in the small rituals: the sea, the village, the simple pleasure of being outdoors. Look beyond the beach and you will find freshwater springs, a story of stone houses and a landscape shared with neighbouring Vrsar. This is your guide to putting those pieces together.

02 / The longer look

The first light.
The simplest luxury.

Before the day gathers pace, walk towards Puntica and the marina. Funtana is often at its most memorable when very little is happening.

Day 1

Settle into the shoreline

Start with the village and harbour. Choose a beach for its entry, shade and distance—not just its photograph.

Day 2

Make room for small adventures

Build a family day around one main outing, with time for breaks and a long, uncomplicated meal.

Day 3

A change of perspective

Visit neighbouring Vrsar, then return to Funtana for your last evening by the water.

A few things to know

What kind of holiday suits Funtana?

A stay organised around beaches, outdoor living, village restaurants and family time. Accommodation ranges from private apartments to campsites; the right choice depends on the daily routine you prefer.

Can I visit Vrsar from Funtana?

Yes. They are neighbouring destinations. The tourist board describes the Bernardina walking link; it follows the main road rather than an uninterrupted seafront promenade.

Is this the official tourism website?

No. Funtana.travel is an independent Adriatic Ritual publication. For official notices, event dates and changing visitor details, follow the tourist-board links in our guides.
